The Clinical Practice of Educational Therapy: Learning and Functioning with Diversity
Edited by Maxine Ficksman and Jane Utley Adelizzi (2nd edition 2018, Routledge NY).
The first author, Maxine Ficksmam, has worked closely with CSUN special education faculty for over two decades, offering her time, expertise, and insights in the development of a quality professional preparation program for educational therapists. CSUN is one, of only a few programs nationwide, to include an Educational Therapy Master’s Degree. This textbook is filled with case studies and research. Stephen P. Henshaw, Professor of Psychology at the University of California, Berkeley and Professor of Psychiatry at the University of California, San Francisco, describes the book as a "tour de force", "sophisticated and readable". Chapter 17 features the CSUN ET Programs and was written by CSUN Faculty Marcy Dann, Nancy Burstein, Sue Sears and Tamarah Ashton.
