What is EOP Month?
September marks EOP Month at all CSU campuses across the state. During this month, we commemorate the program’s continuous student success through historical trivia, highlight our distinguished alumni and students, and honor EOP’s longstanding commitment to access and equity to higher education through mentoring, academics, and holistic advising. Since its inception in 1969, EOP at CSUN has served historically underrepresented, historically low-income, first-generation college students by providing them with access to academic services and support. EOP Month reflects on the program’s history and invites the rest of the student body and the community to celebrate its success and legacy. CSUN is one of the most diverse higher learning institutions in the nation today. EOP at CSUN aims to provide educational opportunities to those who have traditionally been excluded from higher education.
