Air Quality Information
CSUN is in the West San Fernando Valley Region for SCAQMD and AirNow.
California State University, Northridge monitors information from the South Coast Air Quality Management Districts and the California Air Resource Control Board. CSUN promotes a safe and environmentally healthy environment for our students, employees and the CSUN community.
Our program services are developed and provided with the following guiding priorities:
- Work collaboratively with campus community
- Design programs that are easy to use and non-intrusive
- Use campus resources wisely
- Focus on preventative strategies to eliminate hazards
