Yes, MS BANA is a STEM program.
Yes, the MS BANA program is available to all applicants as long as they meet the application requirements.
Classes take place in the evenings, and our classes are offered in-person.
Each cohort begins in the Fall semester, so we only accept applications for Fall. We are currently accepting applications for Fall 2024. The deadline for both applications is July 1, 2024 for domestic applicants, and April 15th, 2024 for international applicants.
Our program requires submission of two applications. Below are the applications and what should be submitted for each:
- CSU Apply
- GPA (undergraduate and last 60 units)
- All college transcripts
- Date of receiving Bachelor’s degree (or if in-progress)
- GRE/GMAT scores*
- English language test scores**
- ApplyWeb
- Statistics course taken
- Statement of Purpose
- Educational Background (with transcripts)
- GRE/GMAT scores*
- Resume
*GRE/GMAT scores can possibly be waived by filling out this form and submitting it to the ApplyWeb application if you meet any of the qualifications listed
**International applicants only; please follow-up with International Admissions
MS BANA does not require Letters of Recommendation and will not consider Letters of Recommendation if they are submitted in the applications.
- Any undergraduate degree from any university is acceptable (3-year degrees are also acceptable)
- Have an overall GPA of 2.75 or higher
OR
-
- Have a GPA of 2.75 or higher in the last 60 semester/90 quarter units
**Please note that work experience cannot be substituted in place of an undergraduate degree**
- Take a statistics course during your undergraduate and earn a score of "C" or higher; or program director’s consent based on work experience in business analytics
- Take the GRE/GMAT or qualify for the GRE/GMAT waiver
TOEFL Requirement
- If a graduate applicant has earned a bachelor's or master's degree from a college or university in the U.S., the TOEFL or other English language proficiency exam is not required.
- If a graduate applicant has earned a bachelor's or master's degree from a college or university outside the U.S. where English is the principal language of instruction, the TOEFL or other English language proficiency exam is not required.
- Students who do not satisfy the requirements mentioned in the previous two bullet points require the TOEFL or other English language proficiency exam.
