Nazarian College Students

  • Students will have a registration hold during the semester immediately following placement on academic notice and each fall and spring semester thereafter while on academic notice. Prior to registration, business majors must schedule an appointment with an advisor by calling (818) 677-3537.  The registration hold will be removed once the student has been advised.

Students not currently majoring in Business

It is suggested that previously disqualified  students complete the Disqualification Online Workshop prior to meeting with an advisor. To schedule an appointment with an advisor, please call (818) 677-3537.

Previously Disqualified students who have been readmitted to CSUN will be required to meet with a Nazarian College Academic Advisor until both their CSUN and total GPAs are at least a 2.0. Please call (818)677-3537 to schedule an advisement appointment.

Academic advisement is mandatory for all first-time freshmen prior to registration.  As soon as you are admitted to CSUN, please be sure to check your CSUN email regularly and your Portal account to ensure that you do not miss any important registration information.

The David Nazarian College of Business and Economics Student Services Center and EOP satellite advises first-time freshmen who are admitted to the Educational Opportunity Program (EOP).  If you have been admitted to EOP, please contact us at (818) 677-3537 for more information about scheduling your mandatory academic advising appointment.

Our office also works with newly admitted First Year Students with majors in the Nazarian College of Business and Economics who have already earned 30 or more units.

All other freshmen (those who have not yet earned 30 units towards the degree) will schedule their mandatory advisement sessions with the Matador Advising Hub.
