An original member of the Feminist Art movement, California based artist Nancy Youdelman began her career as an art student in the early 1970s under the tutelage of iconic feminist artist Judy Chicago. Youdelman earned her M.F.A. in Sculpture from U.C.L.A., and her work expresses a concern for preserving her gender’s memories and experiences. This exhibition illustrates the development of Youdelman’s practice during the past five decades with a variety of meticulously crafted objects.
