Chair's Message

Welcome to the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at California State University, Northridge (CSUN). Our department is committed to preparing our students for rewarding and fulfilling careers in the ever-evolving fields of electrical and computer engineering. We strive to equip our students with comprehensive knowledge and practical engineering skills essential for tackling technical challenges in their academic and professional journeys.

At CSUN, we emphasize a balanced approach that combines theoretical foundations with practical, hands-on experiences. Many of our lecture courses are complemented by laboratory counterparts, allowing students to apply their learning in real-world scenarios. This integration ensures that our graduates are well-prepared to meet the demands of the industry and excel in their chosen careers.
