In additional to the two undergraduate programs offered by the Department of Computer Science, the Department also collaborates with other CSUN academic departments to offer the following undergraduate programs in computing:
- B.S. in Information Systems with options in either Software Technology or Computer Information Technology (Department of Systems and Operations Management)
- B.S. in Software Technology with options in either business or information technology (Department of Accounting and Information Systems)
The B.S. degree in Computer Science (CS) is designed for students interested in professional careers involving the development of software systems, algorithms, and computational solutions.
The B.S. degree in Computer Information Technology (CIT) is designed for students interested in professional careers involving the design, implementation and support of solutions to informational technology infrastructure needs.
