We are proud that the Michael D. Eisner College of Education remains one of the largest Colleges of Education in the CSU system, providing to our surrounding communities hundreds of outstanding new professionals in the fields of education, counseling, administration, and Deaf Studies. The Eisner College engages in transformative education and initiatives that put into practice our commitment to social justice, equity, access, and inclusion, and supporting the social-emotional well-being of university, school, and community members. I am grateful to our talented faculty, staff, alumni, and community partners, all instrumental in ensuring the excellence of our educational programs and community-serving centers. Introducing Shereen Alison

Shereen Allison

Dr. Shereen Allison is a new faculty member in the Educational Psychology & Counseling department. She is a life-long learner with a passion for education, having experience as an instructor, researcher, pioneer in distance education, and as a Licensed Educational Psychologist.  With degrees in both Educational Psychology and School Psychology, her focus has been on the application of cognitive, social, and school neuropsychology to assessment, instructional practices, supports, teacher training, and parent involvement. Current areas of research interest include universal design, universal screening, and the use of RTI/MTSS models of support for student success across a range of learning disabilities, with specific focus in the area of dyslexia.
