This course is a great introduction to the exciting world of fashion design, including exposure to smart textiles, sustainable practice, innovative designers, and other exciting fashion trends. Hands-on projects will include easy to learn drawing and rendering techniques and upcycling of garments using the tools of real designers. Hand-sewing as well as embellishments such as tie-dye and applique will add to the skills that students can apply to their own wardrobe.
