Strength United hosted our very first Domestic Violence Awareness Month family festival titled: Communities United: Fostering Strength & Empowering Families 2019. The event was held on October 19, 2019 from 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM at Lanark Park. Many community agencies and elect officie's tabled for the resources faire. Art workshops, yoga, zumba, and cultural entertainment flowed through the day, and a few hundred families participated. We look forward to making this an annual event.
