Walk a Mile in Their Shoes: A March Against Sexual and Domestic Violence is Strength United's signature community event to raise awareness about sexual assault, domestic violence, child maltreatment and other forms of intimate abuse.
Bring the whole family on October 25, 2014 to:
- Walk a Mile through campus and the city streets raising awareness and funds in support of those who have suffered from abuse
- Enjoy our family activity fair and resource expo
- Win fundraising prizes
- Join your community to rally against violence!
At the event, families, students and community members will gather on the CSUN campus and walk a mile through campus and the local city streets, expressing solidarity with victims of violence. The march will be followed by a fun community resource and activity fair on campus for the participants, volunteers and their families and an awards ceremony for the top fundraising individuals and teams.
