Understanding Educational Rights of Youth  

 Featuring Bernadette Medina Gholami and Heather Wilson
of the Public Counsel Law Center

A FREE community training for parents, caregivers, caseworkers, and therapists to learn about the latest on educational rights, including:

  • Overview of Educational Rights for Youth 
  • What is an Educational Rights Holder (ERH) & a Developmental Services Decisionmaker (DSD)? 
  • School of Origin & Transportation 
  • Graduation Requirements 
  • Catching Up on Credits 
  • Foster Youth and College 

Training will be simultaneously interpreted in Spanish. 

Please arrive at 9:30 am to meet and greet other service providers. Let’s network! Light refreshments will be provided.
