Deaf Studies is advertising for a full-time tenure track faculty effective Fall 2017. This new Assistant/Associate Professor will be responsible for teaching American Sign Language and Deaf Studies content courses. Screening of candidates will begin on November 14, 2016. Priority will be given to applicants who submit all application materials by the screening deadline. However, the position will remain open until filled.
Applicants much have an earned Doctorate in Deaf Studies, Linguistics, American Sign Language (ASL), or closely related field of study. Demonstrated ability and commitment to teaching and mentoring a diverse student population.
