CSUN Alumna Honored as California Teacher of the Year

Erin Oxford-Gilpin, David Kretschmer, and Shari Tarver Behring

Oxhorn-Gilpin ’05 (Liberal Studies/Multiple Subject Teaching Credential) started working with children when she was 14. Today, she’s a first- and second-grade teacher at Northlake Hills Elementary School, and a California Teacher of the Year. “She’s joining an elite group of five former teachers of the year from our college,” said Shari Tarver-Behring, interim dean of CSUN’s Michael D. Eisner College of Education. “The College of Education was incredibly supportive and guided me very well,” Oxhorn-Gilpin said. Read more on CSUN Today

Student Portal and Program Applications Temporarily Down

Please be notified that the CSUN student information system will be experiencing an upgrade beginning November 9, 2017 through November 12th. Please be aware that this upgrade will affect access to the Student Portal and Credential Program applications. The system will be back up and running on Monday, November 13th. You will be able to access your student portal and apply to the Credential program at that time. Read more

Project I-PREP

The CSUMentor online application will not be available after May 31, 2017. If you are applying to a graduate or credential program for Fall 2017, please submit your online application by 11:59 pm on May 31.

Starting June 1, Fall 2017 University applications for approved graduate and credential programs must be submitted on paper. For details select your applicant group from this page.

CSU Mentor Will Go Offline May 31, 2017

Please be advised the online university application system (CSU Mentor) will go offline on May 31, 2017. Please apply by May 31^st to avoid any admission processing delays. After May 31^st the university application will only be available in paper format, additional information will be available regarding the paper application process after June 1, 2017.
