The Advantages of the Carefully Crafted Curriculum
CSUN's Nazarian Master of Professional Accountancy program has a carefully crafted curriculum designed for the cohort format. In this format, one course builds upon the prior course to provide students with essential and versatile professional knowledge, skills and abilities.
To earn the MPAcc degree, candidates must complete 32 units of coursework with at least 3.0 grade point average. As part of their culminating experience, students complete a four part comprehensive exam which simulates a CPA exam focusing on the following four parts of the exam: Auditing and Attestation (AUD), Financial Accounting and Reporting (FAR), and Taxation and Regulation (REG), and Business Analysis and Reporting (BAR).
