Fishburn, elected as vice president of Tech Wednesdays, has worked nearly 27 years as a regional representative in Northern Nevada for Brown & Bigelow, a promotional products company. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Recreation and Leisure services from California State University, Northridge, and a master’s degree in Business from Golden Gate University. Abracon Appoints Tony Roybal as COO

Tony earned his Bachelor of Science in Engineering from California State University, Northridge and is a Harvard Business School General Management Program graduate. He’s an ECIA board and distribution council member and EDS board member as well as a Grand Canyon University president’s CSET advisory council board member. Tony is relocating to Austin, TX from Scottsdale, AZ with his wife and two sons. -- Hunt Scanlon

Cuban composer Aurelio de la Vega dies in Los Angeles

Between 1953 and 1957, the de la Vega gave lectures in the United States and also in Puerto Rico, Mexico and Venezuela. According to the newspaper, after he settled in Los Angeles, he worked as a composition professor at San Fernando Valley State College (today California State University, Northridge). -- Mundo Hispanico
