Larry has performed extensively with the Los Angeles Philharmonic for over twenty years. He has also played with the Minnesota Orchestra, Bolshoi Ballet, American Ballet Theater, and with many local orchestras including the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra, Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra, Los Angeles Opera, Pacific Symphony and Long Beach Symphony. Additionally, Larry has played in the pit orchestras at the Ahmanson Theater and was a member of the 3-time Grammy Award winning Southwest Chamber Music with whom he recorded, performed locally, and played on tours to New York, Vienna, Mexico City, and also to Phnom Penh, Cambodia and Hanoi, Viet Nam. He also has over 100 recording credits including movie soundtracks, TV episodes and commercial jingles. Larry has held faculty positions at UC Irvine and Chapman University, and he is currently an adjunct lecturer at Cal State, Northridge. -- Colorado Blvd.
VIPF Presents: REIMAGINE AMERICA: an anthology for the future (Vagabond Books)
Matt Sedillo has been described as the “best political poet in America” as well as “the poet laureate of the struggle” by academics, poets, and journalists alike. He has appeared on CSPAN and has been featured in the Los Angeles Times, among other publications. He has spoken at Casa de las Americas in Havana, Cuba, at numerous conferences and forums such as the National Conference on Race & Ethnicity in American Higher Education, and at over a hundred universities and colleges, including the University of Cambridge, among many others. He is the current literary director of the dA Center for the Arts and author of Mowing Leaves of Grass (FlowerSong Press, 2019), which is currently being taught at California State University at Northridge and Monterey Bay, as well as at Mission College. His Three Act Poem structure has been taught as capstones of coursework at UCLA and Occidental College. His next poetry collection, City on the Second Floor, will be published January 2021. -- All Events

Ryan first heard about vertical approach angle while pitching at Cal State Northridge, before the Tampa Bay Rays took him in the seventh round of the 2018 draft. He learned more about the idea with the Rays. (Tampa Bay traded Ryan to Minnesota for Nelson Cruz last season.) -- The Score
