Larry Kaplan (flute)
Larry has performed extensively with the Los Angeles Philharmonic for over twenty years. He has also played with the Minnesota Orchestra, Bolshoi Ballet, American Ballet Theater, and with many local orchestras including the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra, Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra, Los Angeles Opera, Pacific Symphony and Long Beach Symphony. Additionally, Larry has played in the pit orchestras at the Ahmanson Theater and was a member of the 3-time Grammy Award winning Southwest Chamber Music with whom he recorded, performed locally, and played on tours to New York, Vienna, Mexico City, and also to Phnom Penh, Cambodia and Hanoi, Viet Nam. He also has over 100 recording credits including movie soundtracks, TV episodes and commercial jingles. Larry has held faculty positions at UC Irvine and Chapman University, and he is currently an adjunct lecturer at Cal State, Northridge.
