New Leadership at PlatteForum

Olson has served as the PlatteForum business manager since May 2023. She has worked for more than 20 years, relentlessly and passionately, to bring youth equitable access to the transformative power of the arts. As a nonprofit leader, she has started, sustained and cultivated arts organizations through empathetic collaboration and inclusive leadership practices. She is also an active advocate for transgender and queer teens through volunteer and advocacy work. Olson holds a bachelor of science in community education from Boston University, and a master of arts in arts education from California State University, Northridge. Prior to PlatteForum, Olson served as the executive director of Think 360 Arts for Learning, growing the organization through partnerships and resource development. --YourHub

The Art Galleries at California State University, Northridge are pleased to be hosting iwitness: Narratives of Resistance in its West Gallery. This exhibition by the iwitness Project tells the story of the genocide of the Western Armenian population (1915-23) through the portraits and narratives of survivor witnesses using photography, oral history, installation and sound. --Armenian Weekly

Gregge earned a master’s degree in business administration from the University of North Carolina in 2018 and also holds undergraduate degrees from California State University Northridge and the University of Pennsylvania, as well as a master’s degree in nursing from the University of Delaware.She also travels nationwide to speak at industry events and remains committed to giving back to the community through initiatives like the Empowerment Beyond Scars Foundation, which supports survivors of domestic violence by providing pro-bono services. Her business also frequently collaborates with other local businesses to support community causes.
