Wednesday’s unpublished opinion comes in a case where a student’s battle with California State University, Northridge (“CSUN”) was triggered by her professor not immediately responding to an equivocal request in a late night email seeking more time to turn in a three-page paper that was due at midnight, allegedly resulting in an anxiety attack.
