Egypt’s Nour El Nabawy lands his 1st leading role in ‘El Hareefa’ movie

The series is being directed by Yasser Samy and written by MelokWorkshop stars Amr Saad, Ahmed Magdy, NahedEl-Sebaei, Dorra, Sayed Ragab, and Sarah Salama. Before becoming a professional actor, El-Nabawyattended Santa Monica College and California State University, Northridge in the US, performing in a number of plays at the university whenever he had the time to do so between his classes. -- Egypt Today

William Ruzicka, Invincible and Kung Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight Director, Dead at 46

Ruzicka graduated from the animation program at California State University Northridge, and began his career in the industry as an intern at Marvel Lionsgate in 2008. He worked in the animation department and art department on various projects, including Transformers Prime as a storyboard revisionist/artist, Ultimate Spider-Man as a storyboard artist, and Invincible as a storyboard artist. These demographic changes resulted from the phenomenal growth of LA’s Latino population, many of whom moved into formerly Black neighborhoods. This has been confirmed by CSUN maps (See below.) documenting the dispersal of LA’s Black population from South Central Los Angeles to other neighborhoods between 1990-2010, largely a result of fair housing laws and Latino migration.
