Her films include The Unafraid (PBS) about D.A.C.A. students, Paraiso for Sale (PBS), Children in No Man’s Land (PBS) on unaccompanied child migrants and Maid in America (PBS Independent Lens) about domestic workers in Los Angeles. Anayansi is previously a Chicken & Egg Fellow, a Creative Capital Artist, a Rockefeller Media Fellow and a Film Expert for The American Film Showcase. Anayansi has taught documentary filmmaking in five continents and was a visiting professor at UCLA, California State University, Northridge and Chapman University.
