CSUN Men’s Volleyball Achieves Victory and Player Milestones With Impressive Performances
The 16th-ranked CSUN men's volleyball team secured their eighth win of the season and second victory in their ongoing seven-match homestand by sweeping a non-conference match against Hope International. Junior Lorenzo Bertozzi notably achieved a career-high of 14 kills, hitting .462 on 26 swings, while senior Kyle Hobus made eight kills with just one error, hitting .700. Senior Griffin Walters contributed seven kills, three digs, and two blocks in the Matadors' 25-19, 25-18, 25-18 victory. The team hit an impressive .453 (41-7-75) collectively, with setter Donovan Constable providing 32 assists. Additionally, the Matadors secured a 5-0 advantage in team blocks and posted six aces, two of which were from senior Jano Tello.
