Kevin Anderson, former Maryland athletic director, back in college athletics with new job

Anderson was Maryland's AD from 2011 to 2018, his tenure ending after his relationship with then-school president Wallace Loh gradually deteriorated and he was replaced by Damon Evans, who remains Maryland's A.D. He worked with Pine at Army from 2005 to 2008, Pine serving as an associate A.D. More than a decade later, they've teamed together in reversed roles, after it appeared Anderson might be finished with college administration; after a short stint as interim A.D. at Cal State-Northridge, he's spent the past few years with a firm that consults with colleges on hirings. -- 247 Sports

The Knicks put together a few rallies in the middle innings, but were unable to recover and the Potters held on to win 10-4. Lincoln native and five-year Potter veteran Eli Garcia (CSU-Northridge) earned his third win of the season, going four innings and giving up just two earned runs with eight strikeouts. -- Gold Country Media
