With NBA Draft coming, CSUN star TJ Starks looks for his chance

Life has brought this NBA prospect lots of success. Starks helped Texas A&M get to the Sweet 16 three years ago. He has also experienced a major low, however, having to transfer from the Aggies after being charged with marijuana possession. It brought him out west to California State University Northridge. -- Spectrum News

Blue Jays: Four players left to be signed from the 2021 MLB Draft

Ranked #245 by MLB.com, Damiano Palmegiani already has ties to the Blue Jays franchise (and Canada after growing up in Surrey, BC), as the club selected him in the 35th round for the 2018 MLB Draft but he would forego the opportunity to instead play for Cal State Northridge. Playing last season at Southern Nevada, Palmengiani led the team with his 1.388 OPS and would slash .389/.521/.867 on the season with 26 home runs and 81 RBI, both of which are team highs. -- Jays Journal

Two more WV Power players get contracts purchased

A 5th round pick out of California State University – Northridge in 2008 by the San Francisco Giants, Quirarte quickly rose through the minor league ranks. He was named an Eastern League All-Star in 2013 while playing for the Richmond Flying Squirrels. -- WOWK-TV
