The Food Science minor provides you with important food science principles and concepts and improves your knowledge and understanding of how food is produced.

The minor may be of interest to science or business majors who wish to seek employment in the food industry or with government agencies associated with food. The Food Science minor is also suitable for students who hope to pursue careers in science journalism, hospitality management or science secondary education.
