Accreditation
The M.S. in athletic training is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE). CAATE has mandated that as of the start of the 2022 fall term, the required degree to become a certified athletic trainer will be a master's degree from an accredited athletic training program.
