STUDENT AWARDS

Each year, the Department of Physics and Astronomy gives out a number of awards in recognition of our outstanding majors. These awardees are selected by the Student Award Committee. Some of these awards are named after a distinguished emeritus or alumnus. A brief description of these awards and a list of past winners can be found HERE.

STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS AND RESEARCH GRANTS

In addition to the above awards, the Department of Physics and Astronomy provides (if sufficient funds are available) a number of scholarhips that are set up by our generous emeriti, alumni and friends. All qualified students are urged to apply. Completed applications must be returned to the department office by the posted deadline of April 14. 2014.
