Career Center Log-in Instructions
Career Center Online Registration Process for Spring 2009
- You need to register first if you …
- have been using a guest password with view-only privileges, OR
- are new to onlline career services
Do the following to register (this is a one-time only process):
- Login at http://csun-csm.symplicity.com/students
- Click on the REGISTER button first
- A new login screen will appear
- Enter your email address. It is suggested that you enter your CSUN email address. If your email becomes obsolete, we will not be able to communicate with you and your account may be canceled. Update your email address by going to the Profile tab.
- Enter the current password: sp09 (lower case)
- Click GO
- Complete the STUDENT REGISTRATION FORM
- Click on Alumnus(a) NO
- Enter your personal and academic information
- School Address is Your Current Address
- Be sure to click YES at Privacy: Receive Email Notification to allow the CareerCenter to email you regarding career information, events, and jobs.
- Click SUBMIT after completing the registration form
- Check your email - A Welcome message with a unique system generated password will be sent to your email address.
- Use this password for future logins at http://csun-csm.symplicity.com/students
Update your personal or academic information by clicking on the Profile Tab.
After Registering on My Career Center you will be able to:
- Locate a Work-Study or part-time job on-campus
- Find JOBS, Internships, Fellowships, and Research Opportunities
- Upload your resume and apply for jobs online
- Schedule campus interviews – held at the Career Center
- Receive periodic emails about exciting career events, speakers, or jobs
- Learn more about specific organizations at company information sessions Sign-up to attend a career workshop (see the Workshop Schedule)
- Check-out which employers are attending Job Fairs
- Network with professionals or alumni in your field
- And More……….
