This page is the portal into information that I am happy to provide regarding my personal hobby. For the most part, the content of these pages form a sort of journal of the things leading up to my entering this hobby, certain activities within the hobby and things I have done to improve my tools and skills for the hobby.
You should have gathered from the title that the hobby that is the subject of these chronicles revolves around Corvettes. More specifically though, my hobby is about sports cars and it just happens to be embodied in the form of a 2001 Chevrolet Corvette Z06. I explain why sports cars in the Prologue, why a Corvette in Plan ‘B’, and describe experiences with this particular Corvette in My 2001 Corvette Z06.
These chronicles of my Corvette were inspired in large part by Ray Smith and the information he has posted regarding his own 2001 Corvette Z06 (see www.rjsmith.com). I am grateful for Ray’s postings and have found the experiences he has related with his car to have been very helpful with the many decisions I have had to make regarding my own car.
