Two students at table for Domestic Violence Awareness MonthThe Women's Research and Resource Center, supported by the College of Humanities and Associated Students, serves as a place where students on campus and in the community can find resources and services.

The Center is directed by Prof. Shira Brown, a CSUN alumnus and lecturer in the Gender and Women's Studies Department. The Center has two Student Directors, Corrin Popick and Tugce Olgun, this year.

New Wellness Vending Machine at CSUN!

Wellness MachineThe Women's Research and Resource Center, along with campus partners including the Klotz Student Health Center, The University Corporation, the University Student Union, The F Word, the Masters of Social Work department and Associated Students, has launched the first Wellness Vending Machine in the CSU system. It is located in the Sol Center, USU. 

THE WELLNESS VENDING MACHINE HAS MOVED BACK TO ITS PERMANENT LOCATION IN THE SOL CENTER, USU.

USU HOURS:
MONDAY-THURSDAY, 7AM-10PM
FRIDAY, 7AM-7PM
SATURDAY-SUNDAY, 8AM-5PM

What does it carry?

Emergency Contraceptive (ECP)
Condoms/Lube
Tampons/Pads
Tylenol/Ibuprofen
Pregnancy Tests
Covid Tests

Why a Wellness Vending Machine?

To provide students access to much-needed health & wellness resources in a timely manner, at a competitive price and flexible hours. At the local pharmacy, My Way typically costs $50. The vending machines carry them for $25.

Is Emergency Contraception Legal?

YES! My Way ECP is approved for Over the Counter sale for any person, regardless of age. My Way can prevent pregnancy, but should not be used if you are already pregnant.

Do other universities have wellness machines?

YES! Several universities around the country provide ECP via vending machines with positive results. CSUN is the first CSU to implement this resource!
