This event is the second part of our "Behind Closed Doors" series.
This panel discussion will include individuals engaged in various forms of sex work.
The topics of discussion will be:
- What is and isn’t sex work?
- What are the problems with conflating sex work and trafficking?
- The narrative of exploitation, victimhood and the rescue industry.
- The state of the political movement
- Criminalization vs. partial legalization vs. decriminalization
Panelists will include both current and past sex workers and members of academia with a research background in the field.
