CSUN Student Veterans: Apply Now to Take Part in the VRC’s “Operation 48-Hour Challenge”!

Here’s your opportunity to come explore the great outdoors with the VRC during the Operation 48-Hour Challenge! The Veterans Resource Center of the University Student Union invites CSUN Student Veterans to submit your application to join us for a completely FREE 48-hour camping experience at Frandy Campground in Sequoia National Forest. It’s all about building connections with fellow Student Veterans and challenging yourself with a variety of exciting outdoor activities during this one-of-a-kind journey into the beautiful California wilderness!

Operation 48-Hour Challenge
Saturday, May 2 – Sunday, May 3

Apply to participate in the Operation 48-Hour Challenge by sending your answers to the following questions via email (maximum of two pages) to VRC Manager, Mayra Plascencia:

  1. Please tell us about yourself.
  2. Why would you like to attend the Operation 48-Hour Challenge? What do you expect to gain from the Operation 48-Hour Challenge?
  3. If selected for the Operation 48-Hour Challenge, how do you see yourself giving back to the Student Veteran community at CSUN?
  4. What does leadership mean to you? Explain a situation in which your leadership made a difference and what was accomplished.
