Joint Advocates on Disordered Eating (JADE), a peer education program sponsored by University Counseling Services, would like to invite you to join us on campus for our annual National Eating Disorders Awareness Week (NEDAW) event on February 25th-February 28th!

This year’s theme is “Hope Starts Here.” More specifically, we will be focusing on creating a sense of community and raising awareness about body positivity and eating disorders. It is important that we address and understand how the CSUN community is being impacted by eating disorders and disordered eating and how we can provide support and resources for our students.

NEDAW will consist of a variety of 10 workshops, guest speakers, activities, and a campus-wide tabling fair featuring resources that promote student wellness and success.

Monday, February 25, 2019

  • Mirrorless Monday | 9:00am to 10:00pm | Throughout CSUN campus. Take a break from the mirror today and know you are so much more than how you look. Celebrate your inner beauty today and the positive qualities in others by writing positive messages on the paper covering the mirrors throughout our campus today.
