-Water Day 2019:

The Institute will host guest speakers and CSUN Sustainability Leaders who will present and discuss important issues surrounding water quality/pollution, water conservation, drought, water justice, and other sustainability-related water issues.

-Climate Reality Workshop

The Institute's Sustainability Program Analyst, Sarah Johnson and Project Coordinator Misha Kouzeh from the Institute will be leading a Climate Reality Workshop on campus. They are official Climate Leaders trained by the Climate Reality Project founded by former vice-president Al Gore, and will be presenting the challenges that our planet faces today, and communicate what impact change makers can have on our future. 

 

-Orange Pick

CSUN Orange Grove

The Institute for Sustainability is hosting its Spring Orange Pick event in partnership with the local non-profit Food Forward to harvest the oranges in our CSUN’s historic orange grove. 100% of the fruit will be donated to local hunger-relief agencies. Advance registration is required through bit.ly/orangepick2019.
