Join Dr. Dianne Neumark-Sztainer for a webinar on yoga during the global pandemic. During the webinar, Dr. Neumark-Sztainer will discuss and demonstrate the what, why and how of yoga during COVID-19.

Dr. Neumark-Sztainer is a professor and Division Head for the Division of Epidemiology and Community Health with the University of Minnesota School of Public Health. Her research focuses on the prevention and reduction of weight-related problems, including obesity, poor dietary intake, inadequate physical activity, disordered eating behaviors, and body dissatisfaction. Her qualitative, epidemiological, and intervention research has primarily focused on young people from ethnically/racially diverse and low-income backgrounds. As the Principal Investigator for the Project EAT studies, she leads a team of researchers who have greatly contributed to what we know about eating and weight-related problems in young people. More recently, she has begun to explore the potential for using yoga as a tool for addressing weight-related problems.

This webinar is free and designed for public health professionals, although students and any interested individuals are welcome to attend. This webinar will be recorded and available online following the presentation.
