Director's Message

“Don’t judge each day by the harvest you reap but by the seeds that you plant.”–Robert Louis Stevenson

The dedication and hard work of our students, alumni, faculty, and staff continues to further the mission and vision of the Marilyn Magaram Center as we “plant seeds” of good health and wellbeing through research, education and services in food science, nutrition and dietetics. We have remained committed to serving CSUN and the greater community by providing numerous opportunities for engagement and utilizing many on- and off-campus partnerships and collaborations, making our virtual programs, projects and services accessible to all while improving health outcomes and enhancing quality of life.
