CSUN Faculty Participate in the National Council for Black Studies Annual Conference

The National Council for Black Studies (NCBS) held its annual conference in Los Angeles. Conference highlights included: Congresswoman Karen Bass as a keynote speaker; a town hall meeting with Assemblywoman Dr. Shirley Weber at the African American Museum; and a plenary session hosted by UCLA on the 2015 Hollywood Diversity Report with actors Robert Townsend, Wren Brown, and others. CSUN team wins "Outstanding Delegation Award" at 2015 National Model UN Conference

Congratulations to CSUN's 2015 Model UN delegation!

This year, CSUN team won the coveted "Outstanding Delegation Award," which is the highest team award of the conference. This award, which is given by the National Collegiate College Association, is a testament to the preparation and hard work of the CSUN team in formulating and proposing solutions to global and regional problems. About 3,000 students from hundreds of colleges around the world participated in the conference. It is a great honor that CSUN was selected to receive this highest award. Read more
