This long-awaited resource is the first published handbook to focus specifically on orienting and guiding trainees in the field of behavior analysis through the practicum and supervised experience. This handbook goes beyond the nuts and bolts of skill and knowledge requirements, and prepares students for the day-to-day realities of the supervised practicum experience. It's even equipped with the Fifth Edition BACB Standards. Dr. Ellie Kazemi and Dr. Peter Adzhyan first created the Practicum Experience for the CSUN MS ABA program in 2011 and this handbook was developed to aid supervisors and their mentees through this process. They didn't realize then that their handbook would be sought out by individuals all over the world as a valued resource leading to its publishing. As they all continue to work within the Practicum Experience at CSUN, they have become seasoned experts. Much time, energy, and resources go into writing a book and we are very grateful to Dr. Kazemi, Brian Rice, and Dr. Adzhyan for spending the time to develop this handbook to share with all of us. Link
