Since 2013, the Behavior Analyst Certification Board® has published pass-rate data for the BCBA certification exam. For the 2015 exam, CSUN students taking the exam for the first time had a passing rate of 97% compared to the national average of 70%.
The Master of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis is offered in collaboration with the Department of Psychology in CSUN's College of Social and Behavioral Sciences. This two-year program enables participants to both earn the master's degree and become eligible to sit for the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) examination, which permits them to practice as board-certified behavior analysts. The program also provides graduates with the foundation necessary for pursuing doctoral degrees.
