PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Attorney, Post Revocation Defense, Law Office of Bruce Zucker, 2000 to present.  Represent California parolees and prison inmates on appointed and retained bases at hearings before the California Board of Parole Hearings in parole revocation; parole extension; psychiatric return; and lifer consideration hearings (over 3,000).  Represent appellants on direct appeals to the California Court of Appeal, California Supreme Court, and U.S. Supreme Court (appointed through California Appellate Project).  Represent parolees in habeas corpus proceedings stemming from parole revocation hearings.    Federal sentencing consultant.

United States Probation and Parole Officer, U.S. District Court, Central District of California. 1995 to 2000.   Authored pre-sentence reports; supervised other probation officers; coordinated the Financial Investigation Unit, which provided intensive monitoring and supervision for the Central District’s worst financial predators.
