The Office of the Provost and Revitalize: Campus Care Recovery Program present Restore in Place: An Interactive Mindfulness Retreat with Aisha Dixon-Peters, PsyD on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 from 10am to 12pm on Zoom
 
Join us for this interactive mindfulness retreat. Learn about mindfulness, the benefits of practicing mindfulness, and ways to incorporate mindfulness into daily life. Includes mindfulness talks and guided mindfulness practices to support well-being and restoration. This free event is open to all.
 
Dr. Aisha Dixon-Peters, Psy.D. is a Licensed Clinical-Community Psychologist and is a Senior Adjunct Professor for the PsyD Program in Clinical Psychology at the University of La Verne. Dr. Aisha is in private practice in Los Angeles and specializes in working with BIPOC and women, incorporating a holistic, trauma-informed, culturally relevant, mindfulness-oriented approach in her work supporting clients in their healing journey. Dr. Aisha is certified in integrative mental health, holistic therapy, hypnotherapy for trauma, as a trauma professional, and has completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training. Dr. Aisha has been practicing and teaching mindfulness for over twenty years. Dr. Aisha is passionate about sharing mindfulness with clients and students and facilitating mindfulness workshops and retreats.
