Dr. Dorothy Chin, a social justice dialog

Watch Dr. Dorothy Chin Speak on Race-Based Trauma and Post-Traumatic Growth: Implications for Education and Counseling.
Dr. Chin is a founding member of the UCLA Center for Culture, Trauma, and Mental Health Disparities. Over the past twenty-five years, Dr. Chin’s research has examined the effects of community and interpersonal trauma, including race-based trauma and discrimination, on psychological functioning among minoritized populations. Currently a Board Member of the Lotus Project of the Public Health Institute, which provides trauma-informed training and services to Asian American and Asian Immigrant populations.
