The Research Area
Our Research Area is an extension of the California State University, Northridge Psychology Department. The Research Coordinators Office monitors the flow of testing materials used in Psychology Department Research. We also house a large collection of psychological battery tests and kits used to further studies in the field of psychology.
In addition to providing access to testing materials, the Research Area maintains a Human Research Subject Pool of over 1,500 students per regular semester. The Subject Pool participates in experiments by faculty, graduate students, upper division undergraduate students, and researchers pursuing their Ph.D. locally who have completed all IRB paperwork.
Every effort has been made to provide as much information as possible on the Research Area web pages. We hope you find this site informative and useful in your quest for research experience.
Sincerely,
Dan Meador,
Research Coordinator
