As a commuter, I like how close CSUN is compared to other CSUs in my area. I enjoy how green our campus is and how there’s always an event happening, basically the student life is living. I also enjoy that there are various places to unwind after a stressful day, especially at our Oasis Center, which I like to consider our spa on campus ;)

As a transfer student from Antelope Valley College, I benefited from the outreach team that came to my school and provided a smooth transition coming into CSUN. I wanted to provide that same help to incoming students and help guide them through the journey of higher education. I also wanted to benefit from the field experience I received on behalf of this program. Not to mention the sense of community and belonging I get with this program and the people I work alongside with.

I plan to earn my BA in Psychology and go straight into my master's degree and take out my first career in School Counseling. Then, if God allows, take out my licensing in Marriage and Family Therapy and open my own private practice in child therapy. I also plan to get into the research field of psychology and explore the developmental side of psychology. Besides school related goals, I plan to buy my first house and be that bridge for my younger siblings once they get ready for college.
