CSUN activities: Outreach Internship Program, Passport Program. I plan to join the CSUN Boxing Club, and the Latino Business Association club

What do I like about CSUN? Everything! I really enjoy the campus, I find it very beautiful and peaceful, the trees and the squirrels remind me of my town in Mexico. I like how diverse the school is, students and faculty alike, and how friendly everyone is. I also really like that the school has programs to help students succeed academically, and in life after college. Oh, and the Student Recreating Center!

I chose the Outreach Internship because as a transfer, first generation, Latino student, I wanted to have the opportunity to help students getting ready to start their journey at CSUN, and inspire others to attend CSUN, but mainly to help students accomplish their goal to attend college.

After graduation I want to travel, have a successful and fun career, start a family, get a home in Big Bear CA, and buy my dad a ’64 Mustang, the first car he ever owned when he came to the US, and to this day his favorite car.
