A showcase of original short films produced by Xamuel Banales that examine the ways in which members of the emerging Joteria movement of the US Southwest challenge Euro-imperial hierarchies of race, class, gender, sexuality, and nationality.
Xamuel Banales is an Ethnic Studies scholar who currently teaches at Northern Arizona University. He received his PhD from UC Berkeley and his research interests include youth studies, social movements, and decolonial thought.
