Who to Contact
University Staff and Faculty
- To request an open lecture room please submit your request through the form below or send an email to academicscheduling@csun.edu
- Types of rooms you can request: Valera Hall Conference Rooms (VH 211 and VH 277), Whitsett Room, and Open Lecture Rooms
Student Clubs and Organizations
- Before submitting your request please make sure your student club or organization is currently registered with the Matador Involvement Center (MIC), also the person sumitting the request must be listed as an officer.
- You must submit your request using the following link, all requests should be submitted 3 days before your meeting:
- Open lecture rooms can only be reserved at the following times: Monday - Thursday 8 am - 10 pm and Friday 8 am - 5 pm. No weekend reservations are allowed.
No events are booked, outside of classes, for the first two weeks of every semester. Starting the third week of classes, we start processing requests accordingly
College Conference Rooms
To inquire about the availability of conference rooms within the college areas, check with the appropriate college.
Jack & Florence Ferman Presentation Room
This room is an academic space for CSUN faculty and staff to conduct presentations, guest lectures, training sessions, and meetings. Priority for the use of the room is given to Library departments and programs. All requests are handled via the website. University Licensing
All non-University groups and events that invite large numbers of non-University attendees need to contact University Licensing for room availability: www.csun.edu/licensing.
University Club
To rent the meeting facility at the Sierra Center or the Orange Grove Bistro, contact the University Club.
University Student Union
Groups wanting to rent meeting rooms in the University Student Union or the Satellite Student Union will need to contact the University Student Union's Meeting Services.
