CSUN Softball players Shaylan Whatman, Mikayla Carman, Lauryn Carranco, Isabella Alonso, and Kaylee Escutia received recognition for their academic achievements by being selected for the 2023-24 Academic All-District Team by the College Sports Communicators, with three of them advancing to the Academic All-America Ballot.
